Bio
Born in Riverside, California, and then moving to Bethlehem PA, Tony started dancing at the age of 4 from watching Fred Astaire and Gene Kelly in all their movies. Practicing different styles of dance quickly became his priority. At age 11 while living in Pennsylvania, Tony auditioned for the Tyne Daly revival of Gypsy on Broadway and was immediately cast as a newsboy marking that his broadway debut. This ran for 2 years at the St. James Theatre and the Marquis Theatre.
Following a very exciting run, his family and he moved to Orlando, Florida where he enrolled in a performing arts High School (Dr. Phillips) and became even more focused on acting as a career. This lead him to study back up north first at Point Park University and then to Cincinnati College-Conservatory of Music.
Tony moved to New York City in 2000 and was immediately cast in the national tour of Annie Get Your Gun with Marilu Henner. Upon settling back into New York City in 2001, Tony landed a series of Broadway, Off-Broadway, and other national tours for the following years. Recently, Tony was seen on Broadway as Tulsa in Gypsy opposite Patti LuPone garnering an Outer Critics Circle award nomination for his performance. He has also had the privilege of performing at Carnegie Hall and many nightclub venues including Birdland, The Oak Room, the Laurie Beechman, and the Metropolitan Room. Tony has also been featured on television in As The World Turns and All My Children.
He is most recently featured in the documentary Every Little Step recounting the process of the making of A Chorus Line. Tony can currently be seen starring on Broadway in Irving Berlin's White Christmas at the Marquis Theatre running through January 3rd.
Tony has always believed in performing with truth, courage, and vulnerability and having that be the forefront of what is communicated either on stage or on film. He would like to thank his family and his friends for the immense support and belief that the dreams of a child can come true. He is truly blessed to be apart of such a wonderful art-form.
